Werner, that is one hell of a watch. And honestly, it must be something very very special, if it draws your attention away from the Daytonas.

I hope you will not regret, that you sold the bracelet. Maybe the Nina waits behind the next corner

Anyhow, enjoy it !

Thanks so much, my friend !!!

And you are totally right, still not sure if it was a good idea to sell the GF bracelet ... but at the moment, the prices for NINA's run away nearly weekly, not sure if i will ever have one !!!! 😀

Andi, that is a stunning pair. And imo it was the right descision not to let go one of these beauties.

I can throw in my Nina on drugs like it was called on Instagram. A full boat piece, like I have not seen a second yet. Beneath the first crazed plexi you can find a flawless and beautiful dial.

What are you on about? Is that not a Clapton? And what, prithee, is a full boat piece?

Hello Lous,

Someone on IG made a joke and showed an Nina Rindt besides a panda Tri Compax like mine. The title of this picture was: when Nina starts to take drugs, she sees the stars and the moon...

Full set: box, papers, hang tag, description and UG booklet came with the Tri aka Clapton 😀

@cell1010 i guess what @LouS wanted to mention is that this tricompax does not really fit into the "exotic compax thread", anyways it's a pleasure you shared this beauty with us. great catch manu!

@Gatsby werner, regarding your bakelit/metal bezel question it came into my mind that you also have both, metal- and bakelitbezel-versions on the poleroutersubs. you find more metal on the mk1 and more bakelit on the mk2, so maybe from one point on UG just switched to bakelitbezels just design-wise or maybe even to follow a designtrend from that time.. i'm having the daytonas in mind 😉 who knows?!

@Gatsby exotic dials also never appear with applied logo like the first ninas did ( mine above for example) but only with printed U like later ninas with first bezel or pulsationbezel (still metal), so they definitely have been released later which also would proof the chronological development from metal- to bakelitbezels.

Thanks Andi !!!!

Very interesting and sounds logical for me - the question now is: are the Exotic dials the successor of the Nina and Evil Nina (every time i write 'Evil' Nina I shudder, not sure if this is the right name for such a wonderful watch 😀) and came after them? This would explain the theory with the bakelite bezels - untill today I did not see a Nina with Bakelit bezel?!

Maybe we can check this with Serial numbers?

Also: really amazing for me that UG made two different colored Bakelit bezels for a watch which was in such a short production. And they did very well of course, perfect combination for both Exotic !!

No, I'm a proud supporter of OF thread-jacks. Just curious about the renaming of this model.

@Gatsby dear werner, i guess it would be a great idea to open up the first "serial-table" of exotic compaxes here ..maybe parallel to ninas and her evil twins. i don´t know how the other members and owners ( @LouS @Mick Tock @jds1017 @Diabolik @Gavin and hopefully many others) think about it, but i also guess it would be a great step forward to learn more about the history of these pices.
Maybe every owner of a piece can just copy and paste the list and add his own watch to it.. hopefully some people join the party! 😀

Excellent watch. Sorry I missed that opportunity a couple of years ago. Congratulations!

It seems that every UG is some kind of Nina now. Here's my albino-panda pre-Nina, possibly worn by Nina's pediatrician.
