They were most likely sold through a store on an army base. Today it seems like those stores only sell G-shocks, cheap electronics and protein shakes 🙁

I suppose these are cheating slightly....Painted up to my specifications:

The left is a blue dial after seeing the photos of one in a Japanese Speedmaster book, and a tantalizing little photo at the end of John Goldberger's book on Omega Sport Watches.
