Two Universal Geneve Chronographs 1930's, Compur, Berthoud

Up for sale are two Universal Geneve chronographs.

The Universal Geneve is housed in a gold filled case.

Both items wind and run. The Berthoud chronograph function starts, stops, and resets. The Universal Geneve will require a little work, as the chrono function doesn't start. I believe it should be an easy adjustment, as it was working some weeks ago.

The Berthoud is 34mm in dimater, excluding the crown and the Universal Geneve is 32-33mm in diameter.

The Berthoud has since sustained a few scratches on the dial that aren't shown in the pictures. It will have to be buffed. I will provide documentation soon.

Here is a picture of the recently acquired crystal scratch. It was nicked on a wall during a chess tournament. Wasn't too pleased, but the scratches seem shallow!

Great watches. Any chance of a wrist shot? I'm particularly intrested in the Berthoud.

I can have one up in a few days. If people want only one of the two watches, I am willing to split them up.
