Hello guys!

Here quite thorough comparison of these 3 pieces with some description. This is from user's perspective. As I said before - 3 completely different pieces, I am far from calling one "killer" of the other.

The JLC Master Ultra Thin collection is gorgeous and very tempting. I've had my eye on them for a while now. However, it seems like JLC is the brand that everyone loves but doesn't actually buy.

I wouldn't say that exactly. JLC is not a behemoth among Swiss luxury watch manufacturers, but they produce an exquisite line of watches that a sizeable number of luxury watch owners purchase, including many OF members.

Agree. Love JLC and many of the MC collection but it seems to be a brand with lass AD presence than some others, in Canada at least. Definitely on my list for an exit watch.

I have my Dad's 1972 36 mm DJ and a newer 8500 AT in the 41.5 flavor. To me, they cover two really different watch spaces. Just my opinion.

There’s no such thing as an exit watch.

True.

I suppose I must have meant "No more room in the house, storage locker or safe deposit box so adding this one JLC before the spouse takes my name off the home and finance documents, calls in the appraisers while I'm away and chucks my CCs onto the burn pile" temporary exit watch.

Until then, I love that MC Calendar with the jumping date.

Sure this JLC is a beauty, but really don't know why it was placed in this thread - completely different pair of shoes comparing to DJ / GM / AT. The three from the topic are usually compared EDCs from mid-tier luxury brands, while the JLC is a dressier piece from upper level.

So yes, generally better watch, but completely different style, aesthetics, price range & purpose. I'd understand putting it in Cellini / Tresor comparison, but not here.

That’s fair. Nothing wrong with any of the three watches being compared. Personally, my choice would be the Globemaster, but that’s simply a matter of personal taste. They’re all excellent choices.
