Produced for less than a year with this dial, this transitional 7928/0 Tudor Submariner houses a automatic 390 calibre movement. The distinctive 'open gilt track' with white text and Small Rose logo was introduced towards the end of 1966 and replaced in 1967 with the 'all white' shield logo and straight text. The lume glows briefly when subjected to intense light- correct for this period. 40mm case has previously seen some polishing. Original Twin Lock crown (No dot/No line). Caseback stamped 7928 II.67 Fat font bezel retains it's original tritium pip. Domed plexi. Serial and reference numbers are clearly defined - 597XXX. Keeps good time, offered head only on pictured black strap. No accessories. For transparency, the picture of the movement was taken at time of purchase, the back has not been off since.
