Hello up for sale is a watch out of my weekly rotation. 1965 Tudor 7928 submariner with gilt chapter ring and silver font. Comes on a USA oval link jubilee. Serial (50X,XXX) and model number clearly visible. MANY MORE PICS BELOW! Details: Dial: Gilt chapter ring with some minor lume loss typical for this model. A very slight oil stain about the size of a pin head under 4 marker, only visible at certain angles (I circled it in one pic; it’s minor but thought I’d mention it). Any other “blemishes” on dial in the pics are just reflections off crystal. Lovely custard color patina. Hands: original flat hands with original tritium, they match the dial perfectly. When the watchmaker serviced it in December 2018, he knocked out a small amount of the base of the hour hand (closest to pinion). He relumed only that small portion. It is eye clean (I circled it in a photo). Case: Still fat and previously polished. Shows signs of wear. Small nick out of underside of 7 o’clock lug. Bezel doesn’t turn, watchmaker says it probably just needs an adjustment to the tension washer. Crown: Twin lock 700 crown. Insert: Black long 5 in beautiful condition. Original Rolex bezel luminova pearl that I had the luminova removed and color matched. Crystal: Original superdome T19 previously polished. Has crack on edges at 10 o’clock area. Caseback: excellent condition no pitting. Stamped 7928 and dated III 65 Bracelet: USA oval link jubilee- the most comfortable way to wear it! Also looks great on leather strap (not included in sale, I love it and can’t recall where I bought it). Service history: I had it serviced in December 2018, keeping excellent time.
