Hello ! I have a opportunity to buy this watch , my question is if Both dial and hands are replacements. Or if the dial is original but relumed as the hands ?
The whole watch is suspect to me and I’m not sure that any of the parts are authentic. The case looks off and in the one pic it doesn’t even look like it has crown guards. “Faded” bezel with new white pearl?
The hands look aftermarket, minute hands is too long and the the lume on the second hand is too far down the hand. The dial printing looks pretty grey jn the pics. I’d make sure there is a silver date wheel.
Looks too good, no bracelet marks on the undersides of the lugs and between them are really discernible on pictures. It is deceptively easy to get an old tudor movement and slap a fake casing kit around it.
Saw the thread title and immediately thought, "fake watch coming up", unfortunately too often the case with Tudor. Hands jump out right away. Compare the font of the ref on the case to that of a know genuine watch, good practice for getting more familiar with these and spotting fake cases, of which there are many. If we're lucky, Linesiders will be along to hold a clinic on the what else is wrong with this.
haha ok guys i guess i will stay away from this watch. It was worse then i imagen , i thought it was only the dial that was bad ! Thanks !
Here is a good example you can use as a reference https://omegaforums.net/threads/tudor-submariner-snowflake-ref-9411-full-set-with-grey-insert.75625/
Everyone is spot on - complete fake. The insert is legit service / 80s standard (though pearl drilled). Dial fonts are wrong. There are a lot of things wrong that I won't pick apart in public. Even the engravings are bad. Here is a comparison I made on No Dates that addresses some of the problems:
