I inherited this watch from my Grandfather. Looking for any information. Is it a fake? I’ve looked up all of the numbers on the case back but couldn’t find anything about it . Any help greatly appreciated.

 

If you google the number on the case back it should give you the information you need.
It’s a ref 166.0142 and the caliber 750 is correct for this reference.

Perhaps one of the reasons why you can’t find an example of this piece in particular is because the dial has been refurbished and chapter ring is misaligned.
