I thought I had shared this at some point, but my search skills are failing me.

Does anyone know what the link is for the NASA Heat flow experiment is? Specifically, the manufactures specs that denote the 145.022 .

I can find other documents but not the actually mfg specs document. I am working on something and might be able to match it to something I am working on.

Thanks! But I’m actually looking for something different.

Bendix made a series of experiments that where flown. One of the spec sheets clearly described an additional watch flown on the mission as part of the experiment. It was listed as a 145.022.

I’m trying to find that document not the certification for the watches.

I covered a bit on it here (all not for profit / not monitized - just a hobby video)

While your looking for stuff. Does anyone know where the diagram for the custom NASA end links for the NATO is.

It’s the square box looking ones with the Curved bar on them.

If this is what you are looking for you will be hard pressed to locate a diagram.

I’ve been trying to obtain a set of these for sometime. They are fabricated in house by Roscosmos not NASA.

That is it, although I could have sworn I found the Bendix specs which specifically listed it somewhere.

I went down this rabbit hole a few years ago when looking at Evans’ watches.

I do not recall a document specifically calling out a specific watch reference to be used.

I went as far as contacting TC Bannister who was part of the team that devised the experiment and coauthored the referenced report. He could not recall any information on how the Speedmaster became the watch used in the experiment.

I have better pictures on my home computer and tried to do this one on my phone. I don’t recall the one on a bare wrist you are referencing but I’m sure pictures will arrive in 3....2....1

Interesting / was not aware of these - be good to have a part number to search on / maybe someone owns a flown strap?

Was a better photo, where you could see the loop that the NATO attaches
