Picked up this 70's? Timex at one of the local thrifts for $5.28 U.S., including tax. Keeping good time over the last 4 hours, but no quick set date. I guess you get what you pay for. LOL

This is my dad's watch, that had belonged to my grandfather too.
A1925 Gruen Precision Quadro.
Still running and beautifully agreed.

AUS$30 for this DS from a local auctioneers - came with a couple of Swiss lady’s watches in a plastic bag 😁

Found this thread buried deep in the recesses of OF. Some very nice vintage budget watches and a thread that could stand a revival of sorts. Surely some folks have gotten a great deal on an “off-brand” since the last post in 2021. Let’s see ‘em 😀

Had forgotten about this thread.
Bought this Omega Geneve for $3.00 about a year ago.
Bought in perfect cosmetic and working condition, didn't even need to polish the OEM lens as no marks.
Just gave it a service so I could daily wear.

Got this little guy last summer in a $6 bag of broken quartz watches. I think it qualifies. All it needed was the crown secured and tightened up.
