Hi all,

I guy contacted me since he knows that I'm a speey collector. He wants to sell me the two Frankensteins attached for 5000.- Swiss Francs together due to the Virus situation. I never bought a Frankenstein before but I quite like the offer. What do you think about this watches? Good price or waste of time?

Why would you spend the money to do that? Wouldn't you be making a franken out of a franken?

It seems like a waste of time to me, but if you're hoping to make a profit, you'd need a lot more information about what you have and what they need. The second one is obviously pre-moon, so it could have some value when restored. But it needs a lot and the dial isn't in great shape. The first one is all service parts so I can't tell from the photo whether there's much value there. Personally, I wouldn't take on a project like this unless there was part of it that I wanted to keep.

To me it seems that there is definitely more than 5000 francs worth of value in those two. If you swapped the bezels it would certainly make the second more interesting.
