·Tritium only last about 15 years, most of my hand guns have tritium sights and they have to be replaced every so often..

·It will age in the respect that the lume effect will lessen over time as the half like is so short at around 12 years. Will it change colour as it ages, maybe, not sure.
I think he was referring to the aging of the color as current luminova dials don't age. That's one main reason for buying tritium dialed watches
