If there is a similar thread, I couldn't find it. I bought a Speedmaster Trilogy in 2017 and have loved it from day one til now. It looks great and wears well. The call back to the first Speedmaster is nice, too, and allows one to wear a very close approximation of the original. This week I picked up the Seamaster Trilogy, finally, and it does not disappoint. It's a beautiful piece that feels substantial and comfortable.

It feels like the time for this set is getting near...the time when the limited number made land with collectors who will not sell them. These are not just homage watches. They are attractive, high- quality watches that can stand alone, without the history. I'm on the hunt for a Railmaster now, preferably one that has enough wear that I won't want to lock it away without wearing it.

So let's see all of those beautiful Trilogy 57 watches, even the ones with the extra text on the dials that came in the sets (which will likely never be worn). And for those who have always complained about the faux-tina, I have to say I can't imagine how cold and sterile these would feel without the extra color. It is simply part of the watches and absolutely adds a warmth they would otherwise be without.

Here is my Trilogy.

I absolutely love the warm tone of the dial and lume. The broad arrow handset just looks so great.
The Railmaster and the Speedmaster are having the Ed White 321 steel bracelet fitted. Unfortunately the 321 bracelet did not fit the Seamaster.

The ‘completist collector’ in me says I need to complete these with a Railmaster. The ‘avoid redundancy at all costs collector’ in me says the Railmaster is the Seamaster minus the bezel (so what’s the point?). I have been at this stalemate with myself for some years now. Also, I would have to pick the Railmaster up for less than the Seamaster and that will be impossible to do as I got that at a bargain back when absolutely nobody wanted them (and they are still undervalued imho).

The bracelet fits the Seamaster too.
You can find it here.

Thanks for the info. But i do have all 3 models and 2 x 321 bracelets.
The 321 bracelet is fitted quite easily (1.5mm pin) on the Railmaster and Speedmaster.
Unless you have to bend the pins or mend the endlink, i would say it does not fir the Seamaster. Actually the last pic is clearly showing the BEND PIN. I will not risk this on a my watch.

I got the Railmaster first and in my opinion it is the best watch out of the 3. The Railmaster case is slimmer. The Rehaut does not stand out as much on the dial. The 60m water resistance is not fatastic. The RM just wears better.

Speed and Sea here not the Rail, as mentioned above, redundant "look".

This is the only one I have to date. I may look for a Speedy Trilogy at some point (when I can afford it).

Bought the seamaster first quickly followed by the railmaster, was never that taken on the speedmaster but it has grown on me. My only criticism is they are quite shinny, which goes against the vintage look.

Talk to Derek at Moyer Fine Jewelers, he is very helpful.

If you wear it daily it gets less shiny.

Yeah I get that but they are inherently shinny watches, from my personal experience they photograph better than in real life. Same goes for the Bb58. I still like both but to look at rather than to wear if that doesn’t sound too ridiculous.

Not sure what to say other than, shiny is as shiny does ~ things that shine are shiny and polished surfaces are inherently shiny.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

Recently upgraded from a FOIS to a Trilogy Speedmaster. No regrets!
