Tri Compax - What do the experts think about that one

Dear UG-Community,

This is my first post in this forum, usually I contribute in a german watch-forum. Looking for information about UG Tri Compaxes, I found this wonderful place, only to realize that I read about it on Hodinkee a while ago.

Today I'm writing because of this beautiful Tri Compax that was offered to me, I really nice watch in my opinion. Are there any concerns about that dial or the case (that part you can see, anyway)? Price seems to be on the upper end at around 7k USD. Is that still okay considering the condition?

Looks original IMO - but I'm not an expert. Very beautiful. Still, LouS is right. Price is a little high.

Thank you guys a lot for your expertise. I will decide over the holidays. But I guess it would be hard to say no to this piece.
