Bought the 45.5mm in 2008-2009. U know, where big watches was the in thing...(well it might still be)....

I'm older now, and I actually enjoy smaller watches now. 36mm to 41mm for me.

I'm wondering if I should trade my PO for a tritium dial Omega Seamaster 300m or the new ceramic black face Seamaster?

If you still like the look of the PO you could always get the smaller 42mm version. It's basically the same diameter as the 300.

strangely i bought a 93 speedy and i sold it after. i couldn't get used to the size of a 42.

41mm is the max i would go on my 7 inch wrist.

IMG_0514.JPG I love the size of the 300. To me it wears smaller than 41.

IMG_0527.JPG Not a good pic (upside down lol) but shows proportion; no lug overhang. Just right. I'm not sure of my wrist size, but I'm 5'10 and 170lbs

The 2500 PO is such a lovely design and the case sits into your wrist in a way many of the glass backed Omegas do not, it's not all about raw numbers, it's how the watch sits on your wrist.

The PO is such an attractive looking watch. I owned the PO XL like to one you own, but with a bracelet. I really enjoyed that one. I sold it because it was over polished, and I had too many other Seamasters. I would have kept it had it not been a below average example. It was my goto watch. I also own a SM 300 MC ti. I have only worn it a 6-10 times in the last 12 months.

The PO wore well despite the larger size. It was a lower profile and I found it to be comfortable on my 7 inch wrist. The SM300 MCti is a lovely watch, but I find the clasp is a little thick for my liking. Aside from that I really like the way it fits on the wrist.

Ironically the new 39mm PO is just about the same as the seasmaster 300 in height. Inside you don't have the double barrel like the 43.5mm. I wonder if that makes it less robust but the power difference is 5 hours. I know this is off topic. Apologies but I wish they made the diver WITH A NEW METAS MOVEMENT. Maybe next year

I've got a 3313 45.5mm POC. I can't stand the height of the 2nd and 3rd generation PO's. I do think the new 300 is almost perfect though.

Like @Taddyangle i feel on a bracelet the first gens don't wear as large as the size would lead you to think.

That being said the 2500 esp the 2500d 42mm PO's are going to be looked at very favorably in a few years.

I also think the ratio of case height to case width is very important, for the me 45.5mm 2500 nails that ratio perfectly.

Just a question, if i were to sell my 45.5mm, watch-head only, how much should i be asking for it?
