Everybody gets tested for Covid on Monday......very little room for error, if just two of an organization test positive that team is out. Would not be surprised if a team or two is surprised. I hope not, but in this crazy world anything can happen.

Loved how Alaphilippe made mayhem before blowing up today. I guess he’s out of GC contention now but that means he’ll go for stages. This is turning out to be a great tour.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised either, considering the fans without masks bellowing in riders’ faces on the climbs, and the stage winner initially refusing to put a mask in when being interviewed.

So cruel!
His time will come, still only 22. And Pogačar still (just) 21!

Tour is Jumbo-Visma’s to lose. IMO, strongest team in the tour. Feel sorry for Dumoulin, signed on looking to be the #1 rider but looks like he’s second fiddle after a somewhat poor showing so far.

Pogačar and Wout Van Aert are the revelations of this tour. I look forward to the day WVA is protected rider, he seems to able to do everything. Experience can only improve both of them.
The impromptu full gas TTT of Bernal, Pogačar, Roglich and Landa was a sight too see.

Pogačar is looking strong so it’ll be interesting what his team’s tactics will be for the next two weeks. Wout Van Aert showed what he was capable of last year and is an awesome bike rider - Sir Bradley rates him highly and he could be the next Belgian powerhouse and follow in the footsteps of Merckx.

I feel sorry for those caught out by the road furniture and crashing today. The roundabouts were taken out for the last 4km, but there were far too many over the rest of the parcours.

Only fly in the ointment is that this is one of the stages we originally planned to watch from the roadside 🙁

The racing may have paused on the TdF but it goes on elsewhere ->

Simon Yates (Adam's twin brother) wins the Tirreno-Adriatico overall 👍

And in France it's the childrens' sack-race

Actually July 2016 at Hippodrome de Pompadour. Next time I'm there I know who I'll be backing, she might be on a horse by then 😉

Let's hope everybody makes it safely through testing today, it would be a shame to lose a top rider or team due to positive test. This last week should be interesting.

Just like 1989 the lead flips on an exciting time trial stage. Congrats to Pogacar for winning the Tour in 2020. And the polka dot and white jerseys as well.

And congrats to Richie Porte for 3rd.

Great result for Richie Porte and feet firmly placed on the podium after today's TT.

Pogacar rode a stage like only a 21 yo could. He would have got dizzy on the podium tonight as mentioned above
Stage
Yellow
White
Polka Dot
That's a impressive trophy cabinet right there.
Loved his comment of something along the lines " just happy to be at the Tour De France " when asked what it feels like to win it.

A new era arrives. Well done Pogacar.
My respect goes to Roglic for such a noble defeat.

Good to see Ritchie Port (a fellow Tasmanian) finally land a podium finish after some pretty tough luck over the years.
