    Cheap chinese tools are...cheap chinese tools. Ok if you want to put scratches and dings in your watches and bracelets, and don't mind the tips snapping off after half a dozen uses.

    All you really need to change bands is a springbar fork (shortening bands or inserting links is another matter). Spend a couple of bucks - you'll be using it on expensive watches. And even if you are not, just spend a couple of bucks for the satisfaction of using a properly made instrument - it's not a fortune.
