So, after the help from the forum on the last Seamaster I was considering (http://omegaforums.net/threads/thoughts-on-this-seamaster.8991), and after reading a number of posts to try to identify original dials etc., I decided to take my first baby steps into the world of Omega collecting off Ebay with these two acquisitions. Both represented as original dials, cases, etc., so any thoughts on originality, replacement parts, etc., so I can continue my Omega education, would be much appreciated. Pics are those of the sellers - expecting delivery any day on both.

First watch - represented to be ca. 1957 Seamaster 420 movement with original dial, crown, crystal, 14K gold bezel, 14K plate body and lugs and SS back.

Second watch was represented to be ca. 1969 Seamaster calendar 510 movement, also with original dial, crown, crystal, 14K gold plate and SS back.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Finally figured out how to edit the original posting. No wonder I'm drawn to no crown and single crown mechanical watches.
