Took a gamble on a Seamaster 30

Took a gamble on this watch as the price was right. US seller on the bay. Looked right to me except maybe the case is off? Did the cases vary with the SM30s? Seller claimed it was one owner and all original. Of course I doubt that's true but it does look to be in great condition. The movement is correct and looks good. Thoughts?

Can you post pics of the case back, both outside and inside, as well as the movement?

Unfortunetely no inside caseback photos on the listing but I did just add the movement and caseback photos.

Looks good to me. It's a 1962 SM30. Case & caseback, dial, hands, movement all look right. The crown, although not very visible, looks to be ok as well.

Thanks for the quick reply. The lugs look a little different than my other SM30. The caseback as well, but I guess these both changed for different years as I've seen examples of both. I'm hoping the dial looks as good as I'm thinking it does. Hopefully not a bad purchase at $300.

I think you did just fine at $300

Hope you love it when it arrives. Best of luck.
