Too small or just right?

Comparing to a sub, does this midsize Yacht-Master look too small on my wrist or just about right? I’ve recently started to realize maybe my skinny wrist is better suited for smaller size watches.

It doesn’t look to small. Actually both look fine. My wrist isn’t much bigger than yours and I have a full size speedy which I think looks fine as well as 36mm watches which also look fine. Most of the issues are in our own minds

IMO, the sub looks great and the yachtmaster looks like the perfect fit! Similar to denim, it’s totally fine to have various fits/sizes watches - they don’t all have to be the same 👍

Looks fine. All that matters is how do YOU think it looks?

The Yacht Master looks like a woman's watch. Don't be a girlie-man and just wear the Sub 👍

As someone that floats between 38 - 42mm sizes on a regular basis I can attest that both of them look great on your wrist. It always takes a second to adjust your brain between size changes...going up sizes seems too big at first and going down sizes feels super small. Give it a day's wear on the wrist to adjust your mind's eye.

That said, my opinion doesn't mean shite...if you don't like how it feels/looks then it ain't right.

Both look good - don't forget that a phone's camera perspective tends to make watches in the forefront look bigger on the wrist behind it.

You’re right. It does take some getting used to every time I switch. That’s also the reason I can’t decide which one fits better.

My wrist is 6.75 so I understand. As long as the lug distance isn't too large, then it's a matter of the dial size. My vintage Seamaster is just over 34mm which is about as small as I like to go, but it wears a little larger since that width is all dial, no bezel. I find that divers or other watches where the actual dial is small seem to wear much smaller on me. Just depends if you like that.
