I had this pass through the shop recently and it took me back a bit . This is really as nice as it gets . It has a cal 500. I'm sure it spent a few decades in someone's sock drawer . I have to remember if it's for sale BEFORE ,I do the work !
Wow that is a beauty. I've got the ss version. Case and mvmt are perfect but someone attempted a redial and well let's say it's on the to do list to let Kirk rich have a go at it.
Jesse what's the worst watch you've ever worked on? Was looking at a family member's SS Daytona the other day, and it has 8 years of thick cigarette ash/sludge caking it, the inside of the clasp is pitch black, its sticky, scratched to hell, chipped crystal, dings all over, probably has everything, blood, bile, vomit, stale rum, the works. Not quite as bad as the Rolex that had been up dad's ass from Pulp Fiction, but its coming close. You have any horror pictures?
Wow, I thought internal movement meant something else. Still if the Rolex is up the ol fellas jacksie at least its not on his wrist
