·Hi all fellow fans.
I bought two vintage Omegas in the last month. 1967 and 1969 Seamasters. Original parts, both from dealers, and both recently serviced (in the past month and a half).
…and they are great. In fact, they are too great. They make me feel like I’m in some Science Fiction story. Because both of them have lost or gained not even one second in an entire week. Zero.
So now I dare not take the automatic off, and I dare not stop the daily winding of the hand-wound version. I think that somehow if I take them off or stop winding, I’ll spoil this perfect performance.
Help! 😀
Seriously though: This “beyond COSC” performance is surprising. Pleasantly so, but still surprising.
Thoughts?
PS the second hands aren’t the same because these are not hacking watches. But they’re accurate.
