They're all lovely watches. But for a vintage Tissot collector, that chronograph makes the heart skip a beat.
(I'll admit to joining IG just so I could follow Taku-san's posts.)

The one I saw is probably a shade smaller than 30.

Thank you for the report! I’m heading to Japan this Spring and will have to add Sunshine City to my list of places to visit to check out the FMWV.

I'm humbled by the dedication and time they have committed to their hobby. Looks like its time to plan a trip to Tokyo this year.

Today, I went back to Private Eyes to get a Watch they repaired for me and to pick up something that caught my attention during my last visit.

Endo-san choosing a set of straps and a period-correct buckle for my watch:

Anyway, here it is - my Anonymous Valjoux 23 from the late 1930s to early 1940s. Beautiful combo of silver markers and hands on a black dial, stepped case (super sharp) and onion crown This will be one of my most special watches for many reasons - it comes from my friends at Private Eyes and from Endo-san’s favorite era in watchmaking.

Aaron, I was closely following this thread but somehow did not comment earlier. Thanks for sharing those beautiful watches with us! And, I'm sure this last one is the most special - congrats on picking up such a lovely piece:)

That’s really nice, what a pro Endo is.

Do you mind sharing a little about these anonymous chronos that seem to be prevalent in Japan... is there much known about them?

Hey R! Unfortunately, not much info on them. Endo sources his watches from all over Europe and USA though so this might not have come from here.
