With a stainless steel back, I would suspect the case is only gold filled. That is, a veneer of gold alloy about 20 microns thick, over base metal. Refinishing the dial is a personal choice. Most collectors prefer a decent original dial to a refinished one. The movement? Without seeing what is in the case, that would be a guess. Vintage? That too is a guess. Late 1930s or early 1940s, but you may get a variety of answers to that one. Don’t be in a rush to try to perform magic on the watch. I would suggest that it is quite collectible just the way it is.

Great looking UG. I’m no expert, but the patina is even and it looks fantastic in your wrist shot. I’d keep the dial the way it is.

According to Sala 4 indicates a gilded case and calendar watches always used a Cal 291 movement.
The other ref. no. gives your watch a production date late in the 1946-49 period.

The dial is evenly patinated and has its charm - leave it alone, particularly as mucking around with it will only take the value one way.

Leave it alone, just service it and wear it.

Can become quite expensive messing around with watch dials

Congrats on your purchase, I would leave it alone, it's pretty even patina. Just enjoy it.

The hour leaf hand looks weird.

If you can find a real dial expert, you might possibly be able to get the dial gently cleaned. If, however, this incurs a risk of ruining the markings, by all means leave it as it is!

    For sure do not restore.

Restore/repaint a dial make it totally worthless and wast the watch.

    Enjoy it

Cleaning a dial ALWAYS runs a risk of ruining the markings.
It's the kind of thing you only do if the dial is worthless and worth risking to destroy.
Certainly this dial is fine as it is, don't touch it.

Leave it alone. It’s been doing it’s job for decades.

My personal opinion would be to leave the dial alone. As previously mentioned the patina is even and quite attractive to my eye.
