    Hi,
New to the forums, but I have 2 Omegas: a 3570 and a great white GMT. I'm thinking of adding a titanium seamaster as I am a sucker for titanium watches (have a breitling aerospace and a helson sharkdiver in Ti).

I think the one I'm after has the blue wave face.

I don't see them come up for sale too often. does anyone know how many were made, and what the # designation is? Also, is the titanium bracelet more difficult to polish and maintain relative to steel?

    thanks!

I see the odd pre 1997 titanium 300m Seamaster in blue, same as the 2531.80 stainless on Ebay sometimes.
There are quite a few seamaster chronograph in titanium available.

Iv'e never owned a Titanium watch, so I cant comment of the polishing.

    Regards
    Brandon

    Thanks Brandon
I'm steering away from chronos. They are plentiful but the chrono is useless to me, and adds a large premium to service cost.

My breitling will polish beautifully with some 0000 steel wool followed by a bath...but I worry a bit about the brushed / polished links and refurbing an older SMP bracelet.

Refurbing a standard steel seamaster bracelet was a project.

Found a NOS one, for what I think is a really good price. Amazing.

Will post some shots when it shows up.
