·Hey all,
Not everyones cup of tea, being both quartz, and from the 1980's but I know there are a few of you out there that have some love for these Gerald Genta designed watches... or are just big John McEnroe fans.
This is a later variant (late 80's/early 90's) of the 200m Seamaster Polaris Titane.
Titanium head with gold inlay, and stainless case back (engraved), titanium bracelet, with stainless steel straight clasp with gold inlay link.
I wore this on and off for about 3 years, it had a new battery 2 years ago, and unsurprisingly it keeps good time (being quartz and all).
It is on a long bracelet at nearly 8 inches - relatively tight.
The stainless parts appear to be from when it was new, they have the same aging as the rest of the watch, and having owned quite a few models in the Polaris/Titane range, this model didn't always get the titanium butterfly clasp that you see on the chronographs.
Condition wise, this is not the best out there - it's engraved, the lume has done what the lume does on these, and it would need new seals to guarantee it's waterproofness.
However - it is either a cheap - so either a wearable watch that you can sling on and enjoy as is, or given what the links/heads/clasps go for, you could split it up and still come out on top.
