Another cool 70’s Tissot from my unloved stash. I have always loved these stepped dials but just couldn’t get into the case shape, need to listen to Kraftwerk and wear turtlenecks with leather jackets to really pull it off.
It’s in really nice shape- I don’t think it’s ever been polished as the brushing is perfect. Navy and brushed silver dial has a few specks on it but I haven’t bother to pull the movement out and see if the dial cleans off. Crystal is pretty clean but a wet sand would get the scratches out (that’s what’s casting the shadows on the dial-no scratches on the dial that I can see). Watch keeps time, date changes as it should. Not serviced during my time with it so that should be done at some point.
Bracelet is sized for a max 7” wrist. It’s snug on me and I like a loose fit, hence it really didn’t get much wear. Luckily it’s a standard lug and not the integrated bracelet so can take a standard strap if you want to lose the bracelet.
Spike your hair, don your Schott Perfecto leather jacket and rock out to some Can while wearing this.
