Tissot Heritage 1948 as daily wear watch?

Hi y'all

I'm considering the following watch:


The Tissot 1948 has, IMHO, a nice appearance especially for every day dressy situations.
I especially like the size (39,5mm x 11,9mm) and the vintage style, but I'm unsure about the lugs.

Does anyone on this forum own this watch? How do the lugs sit on the wrist?

Or what would be some >1500 EUR alternatives with a similiar design language that I should check instead?
