Yeah; I could not resist. Especially if we are that much closer to a sub forum.

This had zero bidders. I was the only bidder. Main downside is that it does not have a see through dyle.

Should take a month to get here. I am not holding my breath we will have a sub forum first.

At least this is as wild and wacky of a watch one can get.

I use the uncased movement as a figit spinner. What other mechanical movement can one squeeze and watch the balance tick...

(and I have spare parts.)

Wow that was fast. Unexpected. From the UK too. Sent with no tracking. Showed up in the mail this afternoon.

Watch has quite a bit of heft to it. Case is metal 10 micron plate.

Noticed the dyle has T marking. Glows quite nicely. Geiger though only shows background radiation. Doubt there is any tritium left.

If we ever do get a sub forum, I'll post the movement shots. Has been running for the last couple hours. This now has to be the rarest and most unusual watch I now own.

Glad I got it before radioactive dyles are banned.

What ended up happening with the idea moderators?

Figured since omega, tissot and Lemania were joined at the hip it would have been nice to give tissot its own forum. Especially in the similarities between the two brands.

My cal 20 I got a little while ago. Needed repair and service as well as new glass and crown and stem which all three were missing.

Considering how interesting the 172-year history of Tissot is by itself and also how much common history it has with Omega - I think a Tissot sub forum here in Omega Forums would be a great idea! Being the owner of a few vintage or semi-vintage Tissots myself…

One thing that always amuses me is when idiots advertise a Tissot for sale they always advertise it as a Tissot 1853 like it's a model number and not the year of Tissot's foundation
