I've bought three soon to be four via private sales on this forum and one from an on line dealer that had a provenance here. To try to sell a POS here is to invite hell fire and brimstone!

The world of "Omega Watch Co" signed Tissots is a mystery to me. But original or not, the dial is unquestionably horrid.

I don't think these are the same watches.

    Same watch :whistling:

Look at 3 spots next to 4 and mark to the left under 6 ;)

I do, dials with mark and patina are like fingerprints.

    Look again.

You may know that Omega and Tissot were sister companies, together with Lemania, in the holding company Société Suisse pour l’Industrie Horlogère (SSIH). If I can recall correctly, co-branded Omega/Tissot dials were sold in the Brazilian market from 1935 until the 1950s, when the brands reverted to their respective identities.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that these were sold in the Brazilian market. I wonder if the tropical climate lead to more destroyed/refinished dials. Or were the dials just of a lower quality?

If you do a search for "Omega Tissot" on ebay you can usually find 2 or 3 of these for sale at any one time. Should have been brought up in the "Double Branded" thread too ;-)
