Well, you know the saying, if it’s not Scottish…

This very charming Timex is marked Made in Great Britain on the dial, and Made in Scotland on the movement. From what I’ve read, this should place it in the 50’s to early 60’s. The service history is unknown, but the watch is running nicely. Winding is smooth, but with some slight resistance (more like butter that’s kept in the fridge than buttery smooth).

Lovely custard dial with a bit of patina adding some character. Applied indices really capture the light and look dope 😎. Case measures 34mm without the crown, 42mm lug to lug, and is a slender 10mm tall. Lug width is 18mm so you’ll have plenty of strap choices - which is good, as the watch is sold head only. Because it is so lightweight, I believe this is a chrome case, but it has super sharp edges, and as shown in the photos, without the traditional chrome wear.

Overall, a super fun watch 👍 This is a catch-n-release with no returns, so please ask any questions in advance. This is yours for $30 plus Canada Post postage from my home in Vancouver, Canada. Payment by PayPal F&F or Wise

Plenty of references towards the bottom on my thread that selfishly promotes my hand-made pocket watch lanyards https://omegaforums.net/threads/pocket-watch-lanyards.115644/

Thank you for looking, and thanks to OF for the space 😀
