Nice find - congrats! I could easily see myself toting that
I just wish I had the strap that would have went with it. I’m a big “throw it over your shoulder” guy. I’ll have to come up with a solution that pairs well with the bag.

OP - nice find!

I do understand this is going to sound strange - but I have been getting into leather lately... (not in THAT way...)

First there was this 200 Skr (less than 20 USD) briefcase at a local auction site:

After some leather care (natural content) and I use it at work a couple of days per week:

Then I found this pair for 600 SKR - only have before-pictures but they did turn out very nice after some leather care:

Next was laying on the floor at a thrift store and looked very innocent in its protective canvas bag. I believe it was 400 SKR:

And I do like old Filofaxes (to write in) - and as almost no one else does they can be picked up for a song.

I prefer to buy these old leather things and then restore them (myself) - but I did comission a leather craftsman to make me a protective tube for my fishing rods. Not cheap but it will last a couple of lifetimes and only get more beautiful with time.

My god- the luggage!! 🥰
And if you ever need to unload one of those Filofaxes….can we even find the inserts anymore? And month/week at a glance?

As for “getting into leather”, you need the safe word to get into that sub-forum.
