Tire-comedon
·Hi,
I just wanted to share those three new watches that I added today in my collection.
The first one was found at a Watch fair.
It is a 23.4SC ref MI 2089, in staybrite steel, from around 1941 :
Here in a 1940 catalog :
The second one is a 26.5 SOB T3 ref from around 1943. When I saw it, I immediately bought it because it is in a very good condition and I love those unusual numerals :
I am not sure of the reference for this one. Found it in this 1943 Swiss catalog :
It could be a ref CK2082, here in a 1939 catalog. The lugs shape looks identical, however the bezel seems wider on the catalog picture than on the Watch I bought...) :
The third one was delivered by the post office when I was at the Watch fair. It is a 19.4 T2 Marine ref CK 679 from around 1938, bought from Kyle on the forum :
Here is this model in a French catalog from 1939 :
and in a 1937 Italian catalog :
It is the second CK679 I have, the difference being that this one has the 'striped' case, a special modification on the case made by a French distributor.
Here are the two cases side by side :
