Hi everyone! I am considering purchasing this watch for $4.5k.

From what I can tell, it has the C5 regular S on the dial, with the correct band + sapphire backing. It’s the unnumbered version with no “Apollo XI” inscription which tells me this is from 1996?

Watch has been lightly polished in the past, but photos make it look much more polished than it is based on the video I watched. Looking to see if folks have any other info they can share about the watch.

Listing Info:
Omega Speedmaster Professional Ref. 3592.50

• 42mm Case
• 48xxx serial
• Includes box, warranty card, manual.

It’s in overall excellent pre-owned condition with only typical minor wear for the age of the watch. It is keeping good time and all functions properly.

Thanks!

I believe it was polished at some point semi-recently.

This lug that lost its definition would make me mad if I owned this watch.

You can get a near mint example for similar money. Lunaroyster (as an example) currently has at least one available. No affiliation.

Polishing like that is a huge turnoff to me and many collectors. It would be difficult to sell as well if it ever came to bother you as well.
