Good morning. I am interested in purchasing this vintage watch from someone and am concerned about whether it is repainted or not. It is listed as a rare white technical dial, ref 131.019. Please let me know of any thoughts that you have!
That dial looks largely original to me, but it looks like it’s had a touch up where there’s been some fading or damage, around the logo.
Original, but with a misguided attempt at "cleaning". These "technical" dials were seen with and without Seamaster. Mine says hello.
Wow that's truly the dream watch, I can't find a single one for sale online unfortunately . Guess I'll just have to keep looking for one that wasn't repainted! I really appreciate the help.
I have "omega technical dial" saved in my ebay searches and would love to add one of these to my collection along with the Speedmaster companion.
Yeah it is haha. He told me the dial is 100% original and was selling it for $750 but after I inquired he took it in for servicing and brought the price up $200. Not the most pleasant experience dealing with them.
