Just after peoples thoughts on this Tudor sub snowflake, I believe it’s a ref:94110??
I love the overall look but what do you think of the dial blistering??? Should I pass.

It’s not a 9411/0 as that ref has a date function.

“Dial rot” is common for these earlier references ...a 7016/0 I believe.

The dial rot and the unattractive lume on the dial are deal breakers for me.

I want to smile every time I look at a watch face, not grimace.

It does appear to have a nice case.

I saw this on the saleroom, its a 7016/0 with the swiss only dial, the dial may of been black originally and you could get blue ones, the Mondani book on Tudor watches has a photo of a perfect blue swiss only dial, I decided to let the watch pass and the final bid was £4500 plus fees.

7016 also comes in blue, and a lot more expensive than black

Dial rot is par for the course on Snowflake subs. I'd be extra careful of one that did not have it. In fact, homages of this model sometimes come with fake dial rot, if you can believe it.

Not sure what the condition of the one you found was, but an under $6K snowflake sub is low, especially if it were blue. I sold one 2 years ago with rivet bracelet at $8K - 2 years ago. Now the blue snowflake 7016 and 7021 are hitting $12K. Boat has sailed long past where you could get those models at $4K complete

For all I know it may be a good price, but the condition of the dial is a no-go for me.

Re the OP's watch pictures - for me, the dial is OK, but the relumed hands are not. Also, must discount the incorrect bracelet.

It is the one pictured at the top of the page, it sold at Bamfords auction for £4500 plus 24% fees and due to the condition of the dial I didn't think it was worth it, I have a black and a blue 7021 and the MN74 and wouldn't mind another non date model.

Is USD $10,000 for a snowflake 94110 head only in good condition, excessive?

Insert is nice, but dial is a no-go personally.

@chows99 , have some pics to share?

I like the look, but would you wear it? The sun will only further damage the dial...
