Hi all,
what do you think of this Seamaster please? the back is clearly polished but i can live with that, i'm more interested to know if you think the dial has something wrong. Last service was apparently done in 2015
Thanks

Dial looks original. Gasket looks like gunk. Case polished.

There is no gasket in the movement shot... Not sure about the crown, case polished. Dial looks OK. Why not, but it depends on the price.

I don't mind that level of polish. Had similar done to mine. End links are a little gappy. Dial is fine. Crown is a replacement, but the original was discontinued, so that's what you're left with. As mentioned, depends on the price.

Dial seems to be OK.

Regulator seems wrong and should be in the middle position so count in a new service (and maybe new parts)

No way worth 1390€!

Oriignal part looks like that:

That is only the fine tuning adjustment...

Some rust, but no gasket. There should be a o-ring, maybe just not here when the picture was taken.

The dial looks nice to me. The parts of the case that I can see have certainly been extensively polished. Not only the back, but also the bezel. Do the sides of the case retain any of the correct finish?

At that price I would just move on. We aren’t dealing with a rational seller.

I believe they do. If you look at the top picture at the 4 o'clock lug, you can see it is curved and vertically grained. This is the same as my watch. There is another variation that I think it a bit more common that is flat and vertically grained.
