Hey guys,

New member here. Would love it if you guys can check this watch out - thinking of buying and while it looks legit, your thoughts on its authenticity would be appreciated.

Seller has 10,000+ stars on eBay, and looks reputable.

Please post pics. More than one.
I don't notice a problem, except the dial appears dusty, or linty. Those things shouldn't get into a watch.

It is weird that SWISS MADE is so assymetrical. Perhaps the crystal is deformed, it looks like an honest front on shot.
Case is better than average.
I am not expert enough to comment on the hands.

It hasn't been serviced, so disbelieve any claims & price accordingly.

Yeah, the SWISS MADE is throwing me off as well. Maybe just a deformity? I'll ask the seller.

He hasn't posted pictures of the movement - I'll ask if he can post them as well. Price is $550.

Don't SMDVs have the seahorse on the back? Or is that one of those "sometimes" things?

I agree.

As these are a Unicoc case (front loader) I suspect that the crystal has not been correctly installed, therefore the deformity.

They made some with plain backs for engraving. Some people refer to these as presentation watches.

I like it and also assume that the swiss made is being reflected in the crystal, making it look deform. Dial to me looks good, and crown seems to fit the case. I personally think 550 dollars is a fair price for a watch in this condition but remember to factor in a service if the seller hasn't had it serviced recently (and can provide a receipt for it).

Dial looks great. I am also curious about the odd distortion in the "Swiss Made" printing, but I would also surmise that it is caused by the crystal. The case is a little worn, but I don't see anything too problematic, so $550 definitely seems fair. Do you know if it is a 565 or 562?
