Plenty of threads on Patina, likes and dislikes, real and faked.

To your query, no expert looks real, visual pitting on the dial, watch looks in awful condition the case along with the dial. Good clean may be in order. Again only my personal opinion.

Does look like a squashed blueberry.

Asking about patina is like asking “whats the best motor oil?”. You’ll get a lot of answers. To me that’s just ugly. To the next guy it may be beautiful.

It has its charm, more if you go for some vintage steam-punky vibe, if that's a thing. I wouldn't pay anything closer to that price though.

IMO once a significant amount of text becomes illegible you should start looking at it as damage.
