Greetings all, I really like this seamaster but fear despite the patina it may be an old redial. This is totally outside of my comfort zone, could you kindly help? Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the movement and will not be able to obtain it. Thanks and best regards, S
Looks fine to me @Syrte, good luck with the purchase! P.S It goes to show we're all WIS in here when we say we will abstain from adding to our collections...only to break that rule soon afterwards
Thanks gents! I like colorful and weird dials... Unfortunately I don't know. Will keep my fingers crossed I can obtain it.
Judging by the font of Seamaster, particularly that coathanger S, and the spacing / centering of the phrase SWISS MADE, I'd say that's an original dial. Omega didn't make many full rotor automatics with sub seconds at 6 so that's a pretty good guess. It might be the only guess for that era if it is a full rotor automatic.
Dial doesn't say automatic. It looks more like calibre 267 and ref. 2900 or 2937. http://ebay.com/itm/121770698530Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Watch has now arrived, dial patina very even and pleasing in real life. I really like orange dials and this fits the bill just fine.
