    beautiful.. expensive, but beautiful.

I'm not the expert, but i would have expected broad arrow hour hand, or Dauphine hands... but then, i've not seen many of these. of course the experts will be around to comment on that.

I love these dials, but don't forget to pick up your Geiger counter!

Looks nice. Hands may or may not be original - as mentioned broad arrow/dauphine typical for the 2914s. Price for me is a bit high but nice 2914s are not easy to find.

In terms of the hands, for what it's worth, watchco has been selling hands like those as genuine 2914 replacements... They claim they are correct for the reference.

That may be technically correct but more likely for the later 2914s not an early one like this one but difficult to completely close the book on vintage omegas completely.

If it is a 2914-2 I would definitely believe they came with the Broad Arrow hands

Yes, the hands would be the deal-breaker for me, given the high price. Even though the lume matches!

funny, the first reply from them was "thanks for your interest. we are here to help you in any way we can.", so i replied back with "well, my only question was 'what is the asking price for this piece?'".. the next reply was the price.

a bit out of my reach at this time, but a nice example.

Beautiful watch. Hands appear to be an issue, but dang it still looks great to me!

For reference, I saw this one in Grahame Fowler's NY shop before Xmas. It's sold now - not sure how much for but I think he had it up for 10k...

Yeah, I wish I could find the modern 36mm Railmaster. Only the ugly XXL ones are popping out at every corner.

My 39mm modern RM looks really ugly and XXL compared to my 2914 ... well it's not. Pictures can fool you bigtime
On the wrist the 37-38mm 2914 have much more heft and presence than the 39mm modern one.

Back on topic: 2914's should have BA hands or dauphine hands (later 2914's) as stated. The candlestick hands are for the 135.004 only IMO. Omega launched these type of hands around ´63/64 and not on a ´57/´58 railmaster (2914-2 with movement 158x as correct on the OP Watch)...
