Thinking of pulling the trigger on this Constellation. Can I please get your opinions on its originality? Many thanks and delighted to join the forum. I am in vintage Omega watch heaven!!!
Hi, Welcome to the forum. It's well presented but unfortunately the dial has been redone, ..... not a bad effort though! Also T SWISS MADE T means there should be lume on the hands and dial which is not evident, hands also look slightly short. I would pass unless the price is right and you really like it.
Hi and welcome, here an original dial (IMO) for comparison. Take a look at MOY area in Automatic, Chronometer and Officially how this letters are touched by the crosshair... Also look at the gap between the cross hair and e and l in Constellation (or lack of it in the OPs case) Plus thickness of printing. All little things but classic pointers to a redial.
it is and you're sitting your first lesson now...... best thing it is free -and can save you a lot of money and heartache best of luck with your hunt
