I'm wondering whether it is a redial? Can't find any other similar pictures of models like this, and it's lacking the "Swiss" at the 6 o'clock, although I'm seeing a lot of other GPs from the vintage era that don't have it either.

Seems to have even patina, that would argue against a redial, and as far as I can tell, the font seems OK.

There's really no information on GP serial numbers at all online that I can find.

Thoughts?

I haven't seen 'incabloc' written below a GP logo before to be honest...

 

Had a look at the movement, it does have an incabloc spring around the jewel that's visible. Also, many other GP Incabloc when you type search on google images. I received a few extra pictures, looks better in these:

 

Any thoughts on the state of the case itself?

 

I.e. Do you think the case is over polished?
