just wanted to get some opinions on this 2639. To me it looks correct except the crown. These are the only pics from the listing I have to share. Thanks guys.

I’m not too concerned with the incorrect crown because Otto frei still has the correct crown if I’m not mistaken.

Looks correct, though the dial seems slightly dull.

So I ended up pulling the trigger it was a few hundred bucks so I figured why not. I was able to source the crown from Otto frei. Thanks @Archer for verifying the part #.

The watch itself looks better in person than the pictures. It’s definitely not the most pristine example of a 2639. The dial will for sure need some cleaning but the hands and markers are corrosion free so that’s a plus. The case has been polished but the front of the watch still looks nice. Someone went a little overboard with case back though and polished it to within an inch of its life! I wouldn’t be opposed to sourcing a case back that’s in better condition. @Archer, could you tell me the part number for a case back?

The plan now is to send it of for servicing/cleaning (definitely no more polishing) put it on a nice vintage style leather strap and wear it! I’m really liking the 36mm case size.

New correct replacement crown installed, light dial cleaning and a crystal polish. Did it myself. Not bad for my first time. God bless omegaforums as I was able to reference some old threads that walked me through the process.
Got approx 34 hours out of a full wind timing was correct to the minute but I didn’t time it down to the seconds. Not bad for a 60+ year old watch.
