Have you even read the OPs comments. He’s asking about buying not selling.

Also, investment is irrelevant. Even (or especially) when buying to keep, people are generally looking to find the best quality and the best price. $6k for this watch is the reverse, poor quality at a high price.
Er. He asked about investment here in the first post (do these pieces increase in value over time). And at least I recognized he is a buyer (and likely attracted still to the redial!), which is why I posted a more reasonable value.

For about $4500 you can get some fairly solid/original 321 Omegas on eBay (yes, including in Europe, quite an amazing one in Austria RN).

So while the seller OP is dealing with MIGHT find a sucker at $6k, I suggest he keep looking.

That said, as defensive as he is about the price, I can't help but think this is a seller, or at least someone VERRY invested in it being worth $6k.

Hi,

If you’re referring to me, no I’m not the seller, just someone who couldn’t care less about a redial so long as it’s reasonably tidy.

I can’t say that I’ve seen any gold ones on eBay for <$6k. A few stainless and GF ones. The ones on chrono24 seemed to be more too, even the redialed ones.

As for being defensive about the price, I’m not really - I just said I could easily see it selling for that over here. If it was yellow gold and had round buttons I’d have been happy with it at that price.

And you need to have a bit of a disagreement on a forum!

We don't generally use eBay or c24 asking prices for valuation.
