Thoughts on this 176.007? (Chrono24)

Hehe. I'm fully aware that it's not a 145.024, or even a 176.005, but these are de facto frequently called Jedis too. I've changed the title and original post to not offend anyone 😉.

Never heard someone called this one Jedi before. 176.005 yes, 176.007 big no 😁

Price is indeed cheap, especially in the world of C24.

Any thoughts on this one? Serviced 2021, not original strap. Very good price. No deposition service from Chrono24, but sellers been active since 2005. Located in Taiwan. (I'm in Sweden).

It looks ok to me. I would still budget for a service / check what service it has had and to what standard. The crystal looks to have some scratches / surprised that was not polished or changed in any recent service. Overall with the extract it looks an honest sale. Uncle Seiko do a nice after market bracelet with better end links.

Price looks ok depending on shipping. Looks like an honest example if you disregard the bracelet/strap.

To be clear, no cal. 1040 is a Jedi or was ever given a Star Wars-themed (or any) nickname by Chuck Maddox.

176.005 is not a Jedi either. We have a lazy researcher or ad copy writer at Antiquorum back in 2007 to thank for this confusion.

Ok, thanks for the input, guys.

And thanks for clearing up the Jedi situation.

My confusion isn't surprising, though as I've seen the 176.007 referred to as a Jedi many times.

A quick Google image search should prove my point: https://www.google.com/search?q=+"176.007"++jedi&tbm=isch

Personally, I will never refer to a 176.007 as a Jedi ever again. 😀
