Really thankful for the extremely helpful advice on my last thread. I was wondering what you all think about these two. The first of which seems really promising, my own caveat is that it's a hand wound movement when I am ideally looking for an automatic. The second of which I was less sure about, I did some research and I couldn't really find a similar example of it with the same indices. I don't mind the patina on the second one and it is automatic and around half the price ($600) of the first one.

Hands on the first one are missing their lume and if I'm reading your post correctly it's no where near a $1200 watch.

Incorrect crown on the second one and well there's that patina, I'd say $600 is a bit ambitious.

    Have you looked here?

The first one would be decent at max 500-600$. The second one is a hard pass.

What's the reasoning on the second one? Just curious!

The patina is ugly, case looks polished, crown wrong. Those Refs aren't to hard to find around the 600$ mark for a decent example. Good hunt.
