Thoughts on the red grape dial for the OP?

Thanks all for the comments. I'm not yet sold on the dial but really like the size compared with the 39 and Explorer 1. It's a neat piece and a less stodgy look all round IMO, and would make a useful stylistic and literal counterweight to my BB GMT. We'll see.

"We'll see" generally means it's not going to happen. But maybe you'll surprise us.

Indeed. Although in my brief experience with this hobby, "We'll see" has also meant "I'll take two. Plus matching NATOs."
