Thoughts on the Cal. 321 1005.005 Seamaster?

Hi all, so for a while now I have been thinking about what the next piece I purchase will be. I must say that the 1960s Seamaster powered by the 321 (ref 1005.005) in steel has really caught my eye. Any thoughts on these? Best places to look for a good one? Could these be a daily piece? Thanks all!

I have a 105.005 and they are great little pieces. I'd say you can use it as a daily piece, however I don't know how water resistant they are, maybe others can answer that.

Regarding servicing it's like with any other 321. My local watchmaker can service it, not everybody can.

Don't know about prices these days, I bought it a couple of years ago for around £2000.

Thanks for the info. They seem to be getting harder and harder to find these days. The most recent two I saw was a beat to heck one on Ebay from Japan and a pristine one w an extract for a whopping 8k, which even for that seemed very steep.
