·Good looking dial! It’s not uncommon for these to be in good nick, the mono shell case certainly helped. Can’t see anything off with the dial - no redial, even if it was relumed at some point.

·Congratulation - it sounds like you got a good deal. Pristine doesn't mean redial if the hands, crown and case are also clean and sharp. These are nice watches and classic 1970's, in design. They look good on a plain or stitched leather strap.
My brother's father-in-law has the exact same Cosmic that his parent's gave him when he graduated from university. It has been his main watch for 50 years.
